Deutsche Bank, in partnership with RecruitMilitary, a full-service military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will host a career fair for U.S. veterans on Sept. 2, 2015 from 11:00am to 3:00pm ET, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA.

The U.S. national unemployment rate among post-9/11 veterans is 6.7%, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The goal of the career fair is to connect local corporations seeking qualified job applicants with former members of the U.S. Armed Forces seeking employment.

“Deutsche Bank is pleased to be hosting New England’s largest career fair for veterans for the second year in a row,” said Jacques Brand, Chief Executive Officer of Deutsche Bank North America. “Veterans have great skills that companies are looking for, including leadership and organizational skills, a sense of teamwork and the ability to perform under pressure.”

More than 60 companies will be onsite at the Deutsche Bank-sponsored career fair, including Apple, General Electric, Home Depot, JetBlue Airways, Oracle, Quest Diagnostics, State Street and TD Bank.

“The fair is by far New England’s most effective opportunity for organizations and military talent to connect face to face,” said Robert Arndt, Director of Federal Sales, RecruitMilitary.

Deutsche Bank is one of the founding members of Veterans on Wall Street (VOWS), an initiative dedicated to honoring former military personnel and employees currently in the National Guard and Reserve by facilitating career and business opportunities in the financial services industry.

RecruitMilitary connects employers, franchisors, and educational institutions with men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, veterans who already have civilian work experience, members of the National Guard and reserve forces, and military spouses, through various online and offline initiatives.
