WOWS hosts inaugural speed networking event

Women from across the bank connected through the Women on Wall Street (WOWS) speed networking on May 24.

The W.I.N (Women’s Instant Networking) event at 60 Wall Street, organized by Mara Arikian, Risk, and Valerie Nuhfer, Treasury, highlighted the importance of building strong networks and support for women’s career aspirations.

Katie Flood, the WOWS Co-Chair, welcomed participants and emphasized the power of networking in promoting the potential of women and the value of gender diversity at Deutsche Bank.

Twenty senior leaders from across the bank met with twenty rising talents via timed speed networking rotations. This format provided a great opportunity to make meaningful connections, ask career-related questions one-on-one, and to share personal insights and advice.

Michaela Ludbrook, Global Head of Strategic Execution for GTB Americas provided closing remarks and drew attention to the strong energy in the room as women began to build new connections.
