Veterans on Wall Street Announces Keynote Speakers for Fourth Annual Conference

NEW YORK – Veterans on Wall StreetTM (VOWS), a consortium of major banks including Citi, Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs, is pleased to announce the keynote speakers and featured presenters for the fourth annual Veteran Employment Symposium and Resource Fair on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 to be held at Goldman Sachs’ headquarters in New York City:

The 2014 Symposium will once again bring together corporate representatives across various industries, transitioning service members and their families, military and government leaders, veterans support organizations and others who have a shared interest in veterans’ employment issues for engaging discussion. The conference agenda will be split into two half-day sessions. The morning session is an opportunity for transitioning veterans to learn about career transition resources and how to best position themselves for success. Panel topics will include:

  • Education Gateway: Preparing for Your Ideal Career
  • Employment: Leveraging your Military Skills and Veteran Network
  • Entrepreneurs: Start, Run and Grow Your Business
The afternoon session is designed to convene members of the corporate community to address the most critical issues related to the hiring and integration of veterans into the civilian workforce. Discussion topics will include:
  • Leading and Advocating for Veterans Through Foundation Support
  • Bolstering Veteran Causes Through Cross-Sector Collaboration
  • Optimizing Veteran Networks To Benefit the Team and the Company
  • Achieving Strategic Objectives Through Veteran Hiring Initiatives
